Grief is real for all. We understand its impact especially when we lose something of value to us, work for instance. We grieve over employment loss because we know that it is the source of our livelihood. It doesn’t matter that it was either justly or stupidly taken away from us. We simply fear for our next life resource. We encounter grief also in timely or accidental loss of people we have encountered be they acquaintances, family or friends. We heavily feel grief in this context because we regret not having spoken thoughtful thoughts, not having buried petty quarrels or making right what was done wrongly before folks we have known take their leave. Most especially, grief is deeply existent in all who are too familiar with loneliness and depression because both put down weight on day-to-day life. Unquestionable grief freezes us when we feel unwanted, incapable, and invaluable. When we decide that nothing could console our grief, we must find and get help. Grief is a feeling that could be turned into joy. We best act on preventing grief to fester, and resolving it once and for all.
