Snowfall

17 …
When snowfall is either thick or thin as it drops, it is just grand to watch.  It appears to add texture to the common rainfall, like swirls of ribbons falling from the skies.  It titillates both vision and touch.  It brings out that childish want to catch it on palms because it coldly caresses.  When the sun shines at its accumulation down the ground, it is just magical.  Light bounces and brightens the bleak, cold setting.  Snowfall gets the landscape extraordinarily lovely to behold!

StormPresent

Unexpected vacation due to a weather storm could both be an opportunity gained or lost.  You could sleep late.  You could just waste it.  You could catch up with piled up chores or paperwork.  You could relax if you like or choose to do something productive.  Actually, you really could do a lot of good with extra time you did not have in the first place.  You could make phone calls to friends and acquaintances that you have not seen or thought about in a while.  You could make/write thoughtful greeting cards and send them out as cheerful surprises.  You could as well spend quality time with your loved ones, yourself, and your pet buddies.  Do you have time in your hand?  Boldly use some of it to serve a worthwhile cause.  You will feel joy!

TummyAttack

5 ...
We couldn't resist picking up a bag or two of something that attracts our eyes and whets our appetite while shopping at a food store.  We even rationalize the effect they send to our brains.  For instance, we imagine chips or nuts' crunch and crackle, and recall how they keep our mouth busy cutting and crushing them.  We wallow in the thought of how ice cream cools and sweetens the mouth.  Dried fruit like raisins, cranberries, pineapples and prunes, we know, give less vitamins, but nonetheless attend to our much needed bulk in the diet.  We like to call processed snacks "food " even if they do not have much nutrition.  Why?  We wildly grab them because they keep us company while binge-watching both sensible and senseless movies from a fat screen or tube box.  We likewise falsely accept that they comfort us in times of solace. Whatever it is we grab, shove in our mouth and feed our stomach for the wrong reasons will likely hurt our health.  Ponder that seriously the next time you walk by snack aisle at any stores!

Melt-n-Savor

Chocolate has a gratifying effect on the palate.  It does not matter that it comes in plain white, garnished with nut and fruit or that it is caramel-filled.  It does not matter that it is elongated, rounded or squared.  Chocolate is chocolate!  But wait.  Have your mouth and palate had fun with dark chocolate lately?  Nothing compares to the competing balance of bitterness and sweetness found in dark chocolate slowly melting on your tongue and all over your mouth.  The experience gives a most perfect gratification.  Are you craving dark chocolate right now?  Satisfy it with a very special find like Lindt or Hershey.  Bite into it, roll it around or simply prolong the coco treat by slowly melting it in your mouth!

"March in place.  Change steps.  Here we go.  Slide it right, and back.  Slide it left, and back. Double change steps in place. Here we go!"
Aerobics could be a heart-pumping, adrenalin-raising body workout for the not-so-young, and the young-at-heart.  Interested folks in such workout, and those who take their health seriously, don't have to search far and around for a group that gathers to pump tired muscles or increase agility and flexibility.  Difficulty-leveled classes of aerobics and like exercises abound among and between interest groups in the community, and yes, at your local YMCA.  Whether it is aerobics, zumba dance, yoga or or swimming is the match for your cardio kick and pump, you are spot on extending your lifeline.  Get going, and get moving!

IceBox

1 ...
In your kitchen, a food-packed fridge at your hand's reach calls nonstop.  You're not even hungry.  As a matter of fact, you just got stomach-filled.  The standing icebox is stationary, but it seems constantly breathing and taking control of your psychological palate.  It doesn't matter where you are in the house.  It doesn't matter what time of day.  Your mind takes over and it visually parades all goodies in the fridge that make your mouth salivate.  The rest is history.  Your self-control is demolished and the will to satisfy your stomach wins!

Goodwill

2 ...
You heard said, "Your weight isn't always what you must control and shape to look and feel good about yourself."  How you regard yourself every single breathing and waking day of your life counts far more.  What goes in your mind when you get up and look in the mirror?  Whom do you see? Is there a purposeful act waiting for you to embark upon that benefits others and you every time you get out of your doorstep?  A healthy self-concept and positive perspectives are keys to feeling good.  When you believe that your life matters each day, it does.  When you believe that you have something to contribute to the grand scheme of wellness or your personal and wider worlds, it matters.  It certainly matters that you act on kindness, and give it freely to someone.  Whatever it is you think you are capable of creating that brings about meaningful change, does matter.  Go ahead.  Think of good, feel good, do good, and seize every second of your breath-filled life!
